About this service
Before a portrait goes onto a stock site, into an ad or onto a client's website, you need the written consent of the person in it. We write a release form that names the shoot, says where the images may be used (portfolio, social media, ads, stock), for how long, whether retouching is allowed and what the person receives in return. A separate section covers minors, signed by a parent or guardian.
What is included
- What you getA photo consent and release form as text for a one-page document you print or send for e-signature, plus a checklist. You also get it as a Word (.docx) file. It is a template, not legal advice: have a lawyer check it for your country.

What we need from you
What you shoot, where the photos will be used, whether the person is paid or gets free photos, and whether minors take part.
We will ask you:

- Where will the photos be used?
- Does the person get paid or receive photos?

- Fixed priceThe package price does not change after you pay.
- The money is reservedWhen you pay, the amount is only reserved. It is released to the service once you accept the work.
- Checked before deliveryEvery result goes through a quality check before it reaches you, and you see it on the order page before accepting it.
- Free revisionsAsk for changes within your brief as many times as the package allows.
- Acceptance after 3 daysIf within 3 days of delivery you neither accept the work nor ask for changes, it is accepted automatically. If you write in the order chat after delivery, the order waits; once we answer, we may start the 3 days again and will say so in the chat.
- Redo or a full refundIf the result does not match your brief and the revisions did not fix it, or the work takes more than twice its deadline, write in the order chat: we will redo the work or refund the payment in full.
Questions and answers
Do stock sites accept this form?
Many stock agencies require their own release or specific fields. Check their list; we can mirror those fields if you paste them into the brief.
Can the person withdraw consent later?
In some countries they can for future uses. The form states what happens to photos already published; your lawyer confirms the local rule.
Does it cover video too?
Yes, tell us and we write it for photos and video recordings.
