About this service
Under GDPR, any company that processes personal data on behalf of another, such as a SaaS tool, an agency or a payroll provider, needs a data processing agreement with its customer. We prepare a DPA that covers the points of Article 28: the subject and duration of processing, categories of data and people, security measures, sub-processors, assistance with data subject requests, breach notification and deletion at the end. We also add the annexes customers usually ask for, filled in with your services.
What is included
- What you getA data processing agreement with annexes (processing details, security measures, sub-processor list) as text for a document, plus a checklist. You also get it as a Word (.docx) file. Questions and answers
Do you include the Standard Contractual Clauses?
We reference them and say where they apply. The official SCC text is published by the European Commission and is attached as is, not rewritten.
A customer sent me their DPA. Can you review it?
This offer drafts your own DPA. If you paste or attach the customer's text, we can point out where it differs from your template, but that is not a legal review.
Does a DPA make my company GDPR compliant?
No single document does that. The DPA is one required piece; your actual security and processes matter just as much.
