About this service

An appliance, a machine or a piece of equipment bought abroad often comes with a manual only in Chinese, German or Japanese, and guessing which button does what can damage it or void the warranty. Photograph the pages of the manual or the labels on the device, and we translate the text into your language, keeping the step numbers, warnings, tables of settings and the references to diagram parts. Safety warnings are translated in full and kept at the top of the step they belong to.

What is included

  • What you getA working translation of the manual with step numbers, warnings, settings tables and part references kept, on the order page and as a Word (.docx) file, with settings tables also in Excel (.xlsx) in Premium.
  • Steps keptSame numbering as the original pages
  • Safety warningsTranslated in full, never shortened
  • Settings tablesModes, error codes and parameters
  • Part referencesNumbers that match the diagrams in your manual
  • Button labelsWhat each marking on the device means

What we need from you

Clear photos of the manual pages or device labels, the device type and the product name and number as printed on it, the source and target languages, and which sections matter most if the manual is long.

We will ask you:

  • What device is it?
  • Which languages: from and into?
  • Which sections do you need first?
  • Are there button labels or error codes on the device itself?

Questions and answers

Is the translation enough for safe use of a machine?

It is an accurate working translation, not a certified one. For machines and safety equipment, follow local safety rules and check with the seller or manufacturer where anything is unclear.

My manual has 60 pages. What do I do?

Choose the sections you need, such as setup, operation and error codes. Premium covers up to 20 pages, and two pages can share one photo if the text stays sharp.

Will the diagrams be translated?

Labels on diagrams are translated in a list under the matching step. The diagrams themselves are not redrawn.
