About this service
We write a specification for an online store: catalogue structure and filters, product page content, cart and checkout steps, payment and delivery options, and what the store owner manages in the back office. Integrations such as payment gateways, couriers and accounting are listed with what data they exchange. Developers and platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce can quote from it.
What is included
- What you getAn online store spec with catalogue, product page, checkout, payments, delivery, back-office needs and integrations; Premium adds user stories and acceptance criteria. It comes as formatted text you can paste into a document or send to developers; any time or cost figures are rough guidance, not a quote.

Questions and answers
Should I choose Shopify or a custom build?
We note the trade-offs for your case, but the final choice is best made with your developers.
Do you cover tax and legal pages?
We list which pages and tax settings are needed. Their wording should come from your lawyer or accountant.
Can it cover selling on marketplaces too?
Yes. We describe what data the store must sync with them.
