Host lines (opening)

Tom (in captain's hat): "Ahoy, crew! I'm Captain Redbeard, and this morning a seagull dropped this on our deck." (holds up a torn map) "Half a map! Legend says the other half is hidden right here, guarded by riddles only real pirates can solve. Are you real pirates?" (kids shout "Aye!") "I can't hear you over the waves!" (louder "AYE!") "Then earn your gold. Three trials, one treasure. Crews, to your ships!"

Games and contests

Cannonball relay (20 min)

Each crew carries water balloons on a big spoon to their "ship" (a hula hoop) 10 metres away. A dropped "cannonball" goes back to the start. The crew with the most balloons in 3 minutes wins a map piece. Rain option: use ping-pong balls indoors.

Knots & riddles (20 min)

Two tasks per crew: tie a simple knot from a picture card, and solve 3 riddles. Example: "I have a bed but never sleep, a mouth but never eat. What am I?" (A river.)

Treasure hunt (35 min)

Five clues in rhyme lead around the yard. Clue 1: "Where green things grow and the hose sleeps tight, look under the pot that's painted white." The last clue leads to a chest with gold coin bags for everyone — no crew loses.

About this service

Team building that is just games rarely changes anything at work, so we start from your goal: helping a new team gel, getting departments to cooperate or rebuilding trust after a hard quarter. Challenges come in rounds that need communication, planning and shared roles, and each round ends with debrief questions that link what happened to daily work. The facilitator gets clear rules, scoring and timing, so a team lead can run it without experience.

What we need from you

The goal of the day, the number of people and teams, the venue indoors or outdoors, any physical limits and who will facilitate.

We will ask you:

  • What should the team get out of the day?
  • How many people are there, and into how many teams should they split?
  • Indoors or outdoors, and are there any physical limits?
  • Who will facilitate?

Questions and answers

Will people have to do physical activities?

Only if you want them. We can build the whole program on thinking and talking challenges, or offer a seated option for every active one.

Do you provide a facilitator?

No. We write the program and facilitator lines; a manager, HR or an external host runs it.

How do we know it worked?

The debrief questions end with agreements the team writes down. We add a short follow-up check for a month later.
