Negatives to add

The "Negatives" sheet has 38 words with match types, ready to paste. The main ones: "how to" (phrase), "wholesale" and "bulk" (broad), "free plants" (phrase), "ideas" (phrase), "diy" (broad), and the 14 shop names (exact).

Not added: "free" on its own, because "free shipping plant pots" brought 9 sales.

Ads to rewrite

Self-watering pots: click rate 1.9% against 4.6% for the account; the headlines say "Shop Now" and never mention self-watering.

Large floor planters: the ad sends people to the home page. Point it to the planters category instead.

About this service

We compare your ad reports from before, during and after a peak, such as Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday or your own seasonal high, to see which keywords and campaigns scaled profitably and which only spent more. We look at where budgets ran out early, which deal-day searches kept converting afterwards and which gift or event terms should now be paused. You get a list of what to change now and a short playbook for the next event, built from your own numbers.

What is included

What we need from you

Campaign and search term reports for the peak and for a normal period before it (Excel, CSV, PDF or screenshots), plus the deals you ran and their dates.

We will ask you:

  • Which event or season are we reviewing, and on what dates?
  • Which deals, coupons or price changes did you run?
  • Did any product run out of stock during the peak?
  • Which event are you preparing for next?

Questions and answers

Do I need a report from before the peak?

Yes, at least one normal period of similar length, otherwise there is nothing to compare the peak with. Two to four weeks before the event work well.

Can you tell whether the ads lifted organic sales?

Only if you add total sales from Business Reports for the same dates; then we show TACoS for each period.

Is it too late if the season ended months ago?

No. The playbook is just as useful when you prepare for the next event, as long as the reports cover the right dates.
