What was done
- Duplicates: 61 groups found (by email: 48, by name + phone: 13); merged into one row each, keeping the most complete details and the earliest sign-up date. Spending was not summed, because the two rows showed the same amount; 4 groups with different amounts are flagged for you.
- Names: split into first and last name; titles (Dr, Mrs, Mr) moved to their own column; capitalisation fixed, including O'Neil and McKenzie.
- Phones: 571 numbers brought to +44 format; 22 numbers with too few digits flagged.
- Emails: lower-cased and trimmed; 17 without a domain ending flagged as "Check email".
- Dates: 9 different formats converted to DD/MM/YYYY; month-only dates set to the 1st and flagged.
- Amounts: currency signs removed, comma and dot mix-ups fixed, stored as numbers.

About this service
When two teams, two offices or an old and a new system each kept their own contact list, merging them means different column names, the same person spelled differently, conflicting phone numbers and nobody sure which version is right. Send the lists as Excel files (up to 3 sheets or files) and tell us which source to trust for each field, and we map the columns into one layout, match people across lists by email, phone or name and company, and merge them into one row each. Conflicts we cannot settle by your rule stay side by side for you to decide.
What is included
- What you getOne merged contact list as an Excel workbook, with a source column for every row, a sheet of matches showing which rows were joined, a sheet of unresolved conflicts and a row count per source. Cells hold values only.

How it works

- 2Clean-upWe go through every row
- 3DeliveryYou get the Excel file and change log
What we need from you
The lists as Excel files or sheets (up to 3, up to 1,200 rows and 12 columns in total in Premium), which columns mean the same thing, how to match people (email first, then phone, then name), which source wins for each field and confirmation that you may process this personal data.
We will ask you:
- Which columns in the lists mean the same thing?
- How should we match the same person across lists?
- Which list is more reliable for each field?
- What should happen to people who appear in only one list?

Questions and answers
Can you merge more than 3 lists?
Premium takes up to 3 sheets in one order. For more, merge them in two rounds, or combine similar lists into one sheet before sending.
What if two people share an email address?
Shared addresses, such as a family or an office inbox, are listed separately and not merged unless your rule says so.
My export is a CSV file. Can I send it?
Open it in Excel or Google Sheets and save it as an Excel file first; that also lets you check that special characters look right.
My list has more than 1,200 rows. What can I do?
Split it into parts of up to 1,200 rows and place one order per part with the same rules, so the results match.
