Year 1 totals: revenue $212,550, operating profit $37,188, cash at year end $36,988.
What the numbers say
- Months 1–2 are the tight spot. Cash drops to about $2,900 in month 2. Keep at least $3,000 in reserve or delay one hire until month 3.
- Summer carries the year. Months 5–9 bring about two-thirds of annual profit, so plan marketing and staff holidays around them.
- Price matters more than volume. Raising the average check by $0.50 lifts year 1 profit by about $16,900; selling 10% more cups adds about $15,000.
- Payback. At the current pace, the $38,000 start-up spend is covered in roughly 13 months.
All formulas are live in the Excel file: change any yellow cell on the Assumptions sheet and every month updates.

About this service
For a concert, conference, festival or meetup we build the budget line by line: venue, production, artists or speakers, staff, security, marketing, insurance and permits, with deposits and contingency. On the income side we lay out ticket tiers, early-bird and group prices, ticketing fees, sponsors, vendors and bar or merch sales. You see how many tickets you must sell to break even, the cash you need before ticket money arrives and what a half-full room would mean.
What is included
- What you getA line-by-line budget, income by ticket tier and sponsor, break-even ticket count, a pre-event cash plan and assumptions, as text and an .xlsx file with values. This is a planning estimate, not financial, tax or investment advice.

Questions and answers
Is this financial advice?
No. It is a planning budget from your figures. Check contracts, insurance and taxes with the right advisers.
How much contingency should I keep?
We add a contingency line, usually 10 to 15% of costs, and you can change it in the assumptions.
Can you cover a recurring event series?
Yes. Premium handles up to 3 dates or a multi-day event with separate days.
