We translate ebook chapters and short books so they read as a book in the new language, keeping the author's voice, rhythm and humour rather than following the original word by word. Character names, places and invented terms go into a glossary on the first page, so they stay identical across chapters and future orders. Dialogue is punctuated the way the target language does it, such as dashes in Russian or Spanish and guillemets in French.

Do I need the rights to translate the book?
Yes. Order translations only of books you wrote or hold translation rights for.
Do you translate poetry inside the book?
Short poems and songs are adapted with rhythm in mind. Tell us if you want a literal version too.
