| Ingredients and cup per sale | $1.90 | Supplier price list |
| Card fees | 2.5% of revenue ($0.16) | Payment terminal tariff |

| 12 | 3,000 | 19,500 | 4,320 | 36,988 |
Year 1 totals: revenue $212,550, operating profit $37,188, cash at year end $36,988.
What the numbers say
- Months 1–2 are the tight spot. Cash drops to about $2,900 in month 2. Keep at least $3,000 in reserve or delay one hire until month 3.
- Summer carries the year. Months 5–9 bring about two-thirds of annual profit, so plan marketing and staff holidays around them.
- Price matters more than volume. Raising the average check by $0.50 lifts year 1 profit by about $16,900; selling 10% more cups adds about $15,000.
- Payback. At the current pace, the $38,000 start-up spend is covered in roughly 13 months.
All formulas are live in the Excel file: change any yellow cell on the Assumptions sheet and every month updates.

About this service
Builders and trades often run out of cash while busy, because materials, crews and subcontractors are paid weeks before the client's stage payment arrives and 5 to 10% may be held back as retention. We map each job's milestones, deposits, payment terms and retention against your payroll, materials, equipment and van costs, and show the weeks when the account dips below zero. You see how much working capital you need and which payment terms would close the gap.
What is included
- What you getCash flow tables by week or month with job-by-job inflows, costs, cash gaps and the reserve you need, plus a short summary, as text and as an .xlsx file with values (no live formulas). This is a planning estimate, not financial, tax or investment advice.

What we need from you
Your current and planned jobs with contract values, stage payments, deposits, retention and payment delays, plus crew, materials, subcontractor, equipment and overhead costs. You can attach a job list or an estimate as Excel, Word or a PDF with a text layer.
We will ask you:
- What kind of work do you do?
- How do clients pay you?
- Which jobs are booked and which are likely?
- What do you pay each month regardless of work?

Questions and answers
Is this financial advice?
No. It is an estimate from the numbers you give us. Show it to your accountant before taking a loan or signing big contracts.
Can you work from my estimate or job list?
Yes. Attach Excel, Word or a PDF with selectable text. Scanned or photographed pages cannot be read, so type key numbers into the brief instead.
Will the .xlsx file recalculate if I change a number?
No, it holds values only, without live formulas. The assumptions are listed so you can rebuild the sums or ask us to recalculate within your revisions.
